Prior Work Experience:

“Wally” gained experience in Human Resources and Collective Bargaining while working for the Chancellor’s Office at California State University and the University of California, Los Angeles.  He has practiced workers’ compensation defense in San Diego, Los Angeles, Contra Costa and Orange County for more than 22 years. “Wally” joined Heggeness & Sweet as an associate in July 1991, working through October 1999.  He returned to San Diego and to the Firm in January 2006 after practicing workers’ compensation law in Northern California.

 Personal:

"Wally” enjoys travel and is a sports enthusiast.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife Carol.
