During law school, Margot studied International Law at Uppsala University in Sweden and Cambridge University in England.

Prior Work Experience:

After admission to the bar, Margot practiced a short time in civil litigation including subrogation.  She then joined a statewide workers' compensation defense firm handling natiionwide clients.  From 1993 until joining the Firm in 2001, Margot served as Senior Trial Attorney for Kemper National Insurance Companies.  Margot enjoys finding creative solutions to complex legal problems.

Margot has created multiple custom Medical Provider Networks on behalf of clients, including the first one approved in California.  She often counsels clients on programs designed to decrease workers' compensation costs such as return to work, safety and fraud detection programs.

Personal:

Margot is the mother of two boys.  Her interests include family time, travel, and writing.
