Prior Work Experience: 

After receiving her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration, Maureen decided that a career in law sounded more interesting than auditing financial statements.  After spending the first eight years of her career working in civil litigation, Maureen started her own firm defending both civil and workers’ compensation cases.  Eleven years later, Maureen joined Heggeness, Sweet, Simington & Patrico in the Santa Ana Office.

Personal:  

Maureen volunteers for the Los Angeles Superior Court as a mediator/arbitrator, and handles fee disputes for the California State Bar. When she finds spare time, Maureen enjoys visiting with family and friends, remodeling her house and taking trips with her rescue dogs, Sherlock and Watson.
