TD Cap Runs From Date Check Issued

Hawkins v. Amberwood Products (2007) 72 Cal. Comp. Cases 807 (en banc):  The WCAB has now interpreted the 2 year cap on TD under Labor Code section 4656 to run from the first payment of TD, not the first day paid.  In this case, SCIF issued a retro-TD check on 05/03/05 covering 07/17/04-05/02/05.  The WCAB held that the two year statute runs from 05/03/05, meaning the applicant can receive more than 104 weeks.
